Salad Daze...

Portion Control Alert ! :)
Nothing for miles except salad. At least I'm trying to get portion control down.

Okay, so last month (well January) I was determined to lose weight. Just like the millions of Americans who set resolutions I set one to lose weight. I visited the gym ( a couple of times) , I used my wii (and nearly died from a heart attack), I used my jillian micheals videos (she almost made me pass out to the point where i screamed.. "I HATE YOU JILLIAN MICHEALS !!!) (I should add this made p laugh everytime and everytime I landed on the floor Ken would bark so maybe he thought it was funny too) And with all my hard work I lose SIX whole pounds. I was beaming. Then February came. And went. And I did nothing. Well, maybe I went to the gym twice, but that would be it. So then March came and I weighed myself again. I gained FIVE pounds. I was so sad. As soon as I saw I ran out to the grocery store and bought containers and more containers. I also bought enough salad fixings and fruit to last me a good while. So I have decided to try again. ( I should also mention I was suppose to go to the gym today and as of now, I have yet to go :( blah) I figure everyday is a new day to try all over again. So I have made my own meal Planner.

Breakfast: Whole grain cheerios with milk & Fruit

Lunch: Salad and Yogurt or smoothie (yum!)

Dinner: Something sensible and tasty (otherwise known as whatever I got to eat from aldi &walmart)

So hopefully, this plan will work. I have also made a exercise schedule which I am hoping one day I will actually stick to.
Exercise: yoga, tred mill, some sort of cardio, strength training. .. well we will just see how this all works out.
So Far today I have eaten a salad. I wasn't up early enough to even eat breakfast (will I ever be?) And dinner is going to be pasta. Hopefully, I get my little (or not so little) booty into gear ..

  1. i think that is so great...the portions! its like no brainer then...you already have it made, so why not eat it!
    the cheese and grapes look yummy!
